These terms govern your organization's use of DPO Manager, a platform operated by Leo-Nath Data Protection Consultancy. By creating an account or using the platform, your organization agrees to these terms.
DPO Manager is a compliance management platform: Used for tracking client engagements, generating statutory documentation, logging data subject requests and breach incidents, invoicing, and reporting. Organizations are onboarded individually; this is not a self-service sign-up with instant access — every account is reviewed before activation.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information your organization enters, for keeping login credentials confidential, and for the actions taken under your organization's accounts. Each account is limited to a number of users agreed at setup. We recommend enabling two-factor authentication for every account, and it is required practice for Admin accounts.
Your organization is the data controller for the information it enters about its own clients. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to process that data, for the accuracy of what you enter, and for responding appropriately to the data subject requests and breach incidents you log through the platform. DPO Manager provides the tools to track and document this work; it does not replace your organization's own legal judgment or your Data Protection Officer's responsibilities.
Fees, if applicable to your organization's engagement, are agreed directly with Leo-Nath Data Protection Consultancy as part of onboarding and are not processed automatically through the platform itself.
We aim to keep the platform available and performant, but make no guarantee of uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance, hosting provider issues, or circumstances outside our control may affect availability from time to time.
DPO Manager is a tool to support your organization's compliance work — it does not constitute legal advice, and using it does not by itself guarantee compliance with the Cyber and Data Protection Act or any other law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Leo-Nath Data Protection Consultancy is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.
Either party may end the arrangement by agreement. If your organization's account is deleted by a platform administrator, a complete export of your organization's data — every client record, document, and file — is prepared automatically and made available via a secure, time-limited download link sent to your organization's registered contact, valid for 24 hours. After that window, the data is permanently removed from our systems and cannot be recovered. We strongly recommend downloading this export promptly if your account is being closed.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe.
